About me

I’m an AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate and Cloud Practitioner, with CompTIA Security+ and a IT DevOps degree in progress at FIU. My focus is on cloud security and infrastructure optimization.

Before tech, I spent years in sales, knocking on doors, working at T-Mobile and AT&T, and learning how to thrive in rejection. Walking house to house in scorching heat or in the rain, hearing “no” more times than I could count, and still showing up the next morning built the grit and adaptability I bring into my work today.

What keeps me moving is curiosity. I love understanding how things work, breaking them down, and making them better, whether that’s fine-tuning cloud architectures, locking down security vulnerabilities, or building a portfolio site from scratch. For me, the process is just as rewarding as the outcome.

Education

Bachelor of Science in IT DevOps

2025 - 2027

Florida International University - Miami, FL

My academic coursework focuses on building and operating secure, scalable systems in real-world environments. Through Cloud Deployment & Operations, Computing & Network Security, and Operating Systems, I’ve developed a strong foundation in cloud infrastructure, system reliability, and security best practices. Complementing this, IT Project Management has strengthened my ability to plan, coordinate, and deliver technical projects with clear requirements, timelines, and stakeholder alignment.

Associate of Arts in Business Administration

2018 - 2020

Miami-Dade College - Miami, FL

After earning my Associate’s in Business, I pursued entrepreneurship through day trading in the stock market and wholesaling real estate during mornings, nights, and weekends. Knocking on doors, cold calling leads, and analyzing markets wasn’t glamorous, but it taught me grit and resilience through the school of hard knocks. Those same lessons in perseverance, discipline, and consistency are exactly what I bring into cloud security and infrastructure.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What inspired you to create KeenKloud?

I wanted a place to document and showcase my journey in cloud security beyond just certifications. KeenKloud highlights hands-on projects where I turn theory into practice and share solutions that are scalable, secure, and real-world ready.

2. Who is KeenKloud for?

KeenKloud was intentionally created as an extension of my resume, something recruiters can explore beyond a PDF. But it’s also for students, aspiring cloud and security professionals, and potential clients who want help bringing their digital ideas to life, whether for business or personal brand.

3. What kind of projects can I find here?

Projects focused on AWS, cloud security, and automation, ranging from secure static site deployments to monitoring, CI/CD, and defense-in-depth architectures. I’ll also be expanding into Capture the Flag challenges and penetration testing in the near future.

4. How do these projects differ from tutorials online?

These projects are built from my own creativity and network, not copy-and-paste labs. They’re designed with real-world use cases in mind, showing how I approach security, scalability, and automation from a practitioner’s perspective.

5. Where are you heading next with KeenKloud?

I’ll continue expanding into advanced cloud security projects, including Zero Trust architectures, SOC workflows, and incident response in AWS. I also plan to share more Capture the Flag and penetration testing work, documenting the process as I grow as a security engineer.
